After a two year stint in California, Dr. Pigott is excited to return to Wisconsin and the Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists.  Dr. Pigott was born in Pretoria, South Africa and grew up in Corpus Christi, TX.  He attended Texas A&M University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.  In 2009, he graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.  After graduating, Dr. Pigott completed an internship with the Pet Emergency Clinic in Ventura, California.  He then completed a residency with Lakeshore at our Glendale location (DACVECC IN 2014)!  Dr. Pigott has since worked at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA as part of the Emergency and Critical Care team managing the ICU, receiving emergency cases, and overseeing students and interns.

Dr. Pigott’s professional interests include: teaching, traumatic brain injury, and studying the use of medical simulators in veterinary medical education.  In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors with his wife Carol and their clan of beagles, brewing beer, watching rugby, and reading
